teachers, professionals and students of Surveying in the frame: "Surveying
in the Third Millennium: Universitary Formation and Professional
Development"
Organized by the Exact
Sciences, Engineering and Surveying Faculty’s Surveying
School of Rosario, with the collaboration of the Professional
Surveying Colleges of Santa Fe and Entre Ríos Provinces.

Wednesday 18
Morning:
Protocolar acts of the Symposium's inauguration.
Delivery of informative stuff about the city.
Afternoon:
Guided walking visit:
Historical part of the city: it includes the Cathedral, 19th.
century buildings of impactant architecture, see of the City Goverment,
Spanish Consulate.
National Monument to the Flag: Ascension to the balcony of
the tower, views of the city, Paraná river and the islands, visit to the Hall
of the American Flags.
Pasaje juramento: run trough this modern urban intervention,
with explanation of the meaning of Lola Mora´s sculptoric group,
accessing finally to Plaza 25 de Mayo, Cathedral and Municipal Palace.
Firma y Odilio Estevez Museum: Show-case of the most fine
decorative art in a great residence linked with the origins of Rosario.
Thursday 19
City tour: From the hotels -in bus-, the most
significative places of the city will be visited, including historical sites,
typical neighborhoods related with the different collectivities of immigrants
stablished in the region, recreational places, factories, shoppings and
hiper-markets.
Lunch in a typical place of Paraná river coast: with view to
the principal navigation channel, the islands an the contruction site of the
Rosario-Victoria bridge complex, which will cross the river through 56
kilometers (35 miles) over its channels, islands and flood plains.
Free afternoon (arrangements for the dinner).
- Dinner: Welcome reception with artistic animation, dinner,
surprise-show and dancing.
Friday 20
- Downtown stroll and facilitation for souvenir buying.
Meeting with
the participants of the Symposium.
Travel by ship along the river, visiting islands and typic
places of the large fluvial delta; approximation to the construction place of
the Rosario-Victoria bridge complex.
Coming back to the hotels and coordination of transfer
services to the returning voyages or post-event touristic tours.
** The present programme is tentative; it can be adjusted
depending on the wheather variables or the contingent motivation. Special
activities and facilitations are foresaw for those persons who arrive or leave
the city out of the planned in this programme.
